We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it for. Accounting and tax records are kept for as long as the law requires, normally 6 years. Technical data is kept by our hosting providers for a short period under their own policies.

Marketing

We may contact people at businesses about our products. If you ask us to stop, we will, and we will keep a note of your request so we do not contact you again.

Camera footage at venues

Our products analyse camera footage at the venues that use them. The venue decides how that footage is used and is responsible for it as data controller. We handle it on the venue's behalf and on its instructions. Incident clips and any other footage we store are kept for no more than 30 days and then deleted, unless the venue asks us to keep a specific clip, for example for an insurance claim. If you have been recorded at a venue, please contact the venue first. You can also email us and we will pass your request on.

Who we share information with

We use service providers who handle information on our behalf, including the companies that host our websites and our email, our bank, any accountant we use, and our insurers and professional advisers. We may also share information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend legal claims.

International transfers

Some of our providers may process information outside the UK. Where that happens, appropriate safeguards recognised under UK law must be in place so your information keeps an equivalent level of protection.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. You can object to direct marketing at any time and we will always stop. Where we rely on your consent you can withdraw it at any time.

To use any of these rights, email sales@assist-ai.uk. We will reply within one month. There is normally no charge.

Keeping information secure

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information and limit access to the people who need it.

Complaints

Please contact us first and we will try to put things right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this notice

We will update this page if the way we use personal information changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
