About the founders
Marshal Assist AI is founded by Alex and Adam, two karting marshals and BUKC Championship racers building the safety system they always wished their own venues had.
The founders
They have both spent time on track and beside it, seeing how quickly a normal session can change when visibility, communication or safety procedures fall short.
Alex brings three years as an outdoor karting marshal, a seat in the BUKC Championship, and a background as a Formula Student team principal. It's a rare mix of driver, engineer, and marshal, and it means he knows firsthand how easily an incident goes unseen when one person can't watch every corner of an outdoor circuit at once.
Adam brings three years as an indoor karting marshal, a seat in the BUKC Championship, and a background in software development. That combination of driver, marshal, and builder is what shapes Marshal Assist AI around the real pressure of busy karting operations, where incidents pile up fast and every second of response time counts.
Their vision
For all the care venues put into safety, Alex and Adam saw the same gap everywhere: the technology hadn't caught up.
